Erado Archiving Subscription for LPL Financial Advisors
Mandatory Subscription for Advisors Using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
LPL Financial advisors and their staff using Facebook, LinkedIn and/or Twitter for business purposes are required to subscribe to Erado, a third party service provider that tracks and archives social media activity on all three sites. All Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts used for businesses purposes must be registered with Erado before an advisor can post content.
Using Erado for Social Media Archiving
Through our partnership with Erado, LPL Financial advisors and their staff can use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to send out real-time communications to clients and prospects. Erado automatically captures and tracks your interactive content, such as status updates and tweets, directly from your Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts. This allows you to post interactive content, such as status updates immediately without pre-approval by LPL Financial Marketing Regulatory review. Please note: Erado does not track and archive static content, such as personal profiles for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Static content must be submitted through Compliance Max to Marketing Regulatory Review for approval prior to use.
Get Started
Note: Before you begin, you must already have an account setup with your prefferred social media site.
Step 1: Subscribe to Erado by completing the form with your contact and billing information, your social media sites and agreeing to the terms.
Step 2: Review your subscription order information.
Step 3: Install the Erado Compliance and Capture application by clicking the links provided for each networking site.
Reminder: Before you begin posting content to your social networking sites, you must complete the mandatory LPL Financial Social Media Training and submit your static profile for review and approval.
